KUALA LUMPUR: The case of Pedra Branca took a twist when the issue of Johor's jurisdiction over its territorial seas was raised in a letter by Kelantan prince Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah to the Foreign Minister.

Tengku Razaleigh sent a letter on Wednesday to Foreign Minister Rais Yatim to express his concern over his contention that the interests of Johor were not raised before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

'I hope the government will refrain from making any further statement or participating in technical discussions with Singapore on these matters,' he said in the letter.
