MBS hit by blackouts, casino is latest to be affected

A SERIES of power failures has plagued the two-week-old Marina Bay Sands (MBS) integrated resort.

The latest, which affected the casino, occurred early yesterday morning and lasted an hour.

It followed a smaller blackout on Monday, which affected retail stores, and a much-publicised power failure last week during the Inter-Pacific Bar Association's (IPBA) conference.
