Palace Hotel Tokyo has launched a luxury package called Palatial Pursuits: Adoring Tokyo.
Guests who book the package, which starts at 85,000 yen (S$1,000) a night, receive a coveted single, unset, 8mm akoya saltwater pearl from Nichibo Pearl, a luxury pearl jeweller that opened in the original Palace Hotel in 1961 and is now in the hotel's shopping arcade.
Guests can have their pearl set in a custom ring, or design a pair of earrings or a necklace at additional cost.
Travellers will also have their choice of a deluxe room with balcony or an executive suite, where they will find fresh flowers, fruits and a chilled bottle of champagne upon arrival, as well as enjoy stunning views of the Imperial Palace gardens, Wadakura Fountain park and the city skyline.
