All run and games as Bishan gets taste of Olympics
Former national swimmer and Olympian Mark Chay leading the Olympic Day Run on Saturday morning as part of this year's Olympic Day celebrations.

SINGAPORE - About 500 participants, including students from local primary and secondary schools, were flagged off by guest of honour Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth Lawrence Wong for the 2.7km run at Bishan Park.

Other Singapore Olympians such as badminton shuttler Ronald Susilo, shooter Lee Wung Yew and sprinter C. Kunalan were also present.

Participants were also able to sample Olympic sports such as archery, football and volleyball.
