An architect saw the true potential of this abandoned factory in 1973, so he bought it and renovated it into a home that is bound to amaze you.
According to an article in viralnova.com, Ricardo Bofill completely transformed the industrial building located in Barcelona, Spain over a period of two years.
The original industrial complex included over 30 silos, huge machine rooms and underground structures.
Now, eight silos remains, which are made into offices, a models laboratory, archives, a library, a projections room and a gigantic space known as 'The Cathedral', which is used for exhibitions.
Bofill designed it to be the headquarters of the Taller de Arquitectura, but the building also includes his own living quarters and guest rooms.
