What's new in Powerpoint 2013

Turn on the charm in your presentation with new features in PowerPoint 2013.

It sports a brand new look which is cleaner and optimised for tablets and phones, so you can easily swipe your way through the slides. Create good-looking presentations in a jiffy with a wide choice of themes and templates.

If you do not like the default colour of a theme, you can now switch easily to a different one within the same theme.

One of the limitations of the previous version of PowerPoint was that it was tricky to ensure that the audience is looking at the slides and not your personal notes in Presenter View mode.

Now, it is hassle-free, so you get to see your notes while the audience sees the snazzy slides that you have prepared.

You can also zoom into a specific area of a chart or diagram to highlight the areas you want your viewers to take a closer look at, create simple animations to liven up your presentation and embed video clips easily with the improved support for more multimedia codecs, such as AAC and H.264.

With its integration with Skydrive, you can now save your slides to the cloud and download them on another device with ease.

If you are working with a team, your teammates can now add comments to your slides, just as they would in a Word document.
