F&N Creameries has teamed up with local culinary experts to introduce a range of artisanal ice cream to be sold at local supermarkets.
The Inspired Chef ice cream range brings together the best chefs in Singapore to craft signature flavours that combine local taste traditions with top quality ingredients.
The inaugural range of artisanal ice creams features works by chefs Pang Kok Keong of Antoinette, Janice Wong from 2am:dessert bar and Willin Low of Wild Rocket fame.
Inspired by his favourite childhood snack, Chef Low formulated Double Peanut Fudge - a peanut butter ice cream infused with bits of crunchy peanut candy brittle and drizzled with dark chocolate fudge.
Chef Pang on the other hand went classic with Raspberry Cheesecake Rumble - a cream cheese ice cream swirled with freshly handpicked raspberry coulis, topped with butter crumble for an added crunch.
Cocoa-lovers are in for a treat with Divine Chocolate Tart. Concocted in collaboration with Bakerzin, Divine Chocolate Tart is a rich blend of fine chocolate ice cream, topped with butter crumble and a dash of sea salt.
The adventurous can opt for the unique taste of White Chocolate & Black Sesame ice cream - a harmonious combination of white chocolate ice cream and black sesame.
These four flavours can be found at FairPrice Finest and FairPriceXtra outlets. The Inspired Chef ice creams retail at $14.90 a pint (473ml).
Consumers can also purchase them online at www.inspiredchef.sg, along with other two other flavours - Caramel Popcorn Avalanche by Chef Wong and Ms Strawberry Madeleine by Chef Tay.
