32 flights in the Philippines cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA: At least 32 flights were cancelled on Saturday as the low pressure area continues to bring rains to some Visayas and Mindanao provinces.

Cebu Pacific Air, in its latest advisory, announced that most flights from Manila to Mindanao provinces and vice versa have been cancelled due to bad weather.

The airline advised passengers who were booked for the following flights to avail any of the options they gave for free: rebooking or re-routing of flights within 30 days; conversion of full value of fares in a travel fund; or full refund.

"Affected guests may call Cebu Pacific's reservation numbers (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888 for details of their preferred option." it added.

Cebu Pacific also sought for the passengers' understanding of the flight cancellations as they continue to provide immediate updates.

The Department of Transportation and Communication, meanwhile, announced Saturday morning 16 more flights were cancelled also due to bad weather.
