Aerotrain services at KL international airport back on track

PUTRAJAYA - Aerotrain services at the KL International Airport returned to normal by noon yesterday after being suspended for several hours since early morning.

While the technical problems were being repaired, buses ferried passengers between the main terminal and the satellite building.

Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad operations service senior general manager Datuk Azmi Murad said the aerotrain encountered some technical bug.

"As our technical team was rectifying the problem, we had shuttle buses to ferry the passengers from both buildings.

"This is part of our standard operating procedure if there are problems with the aerotrain services."

He said four shuttle buses were provided to ferry the passengers.

He said one aerotrain resumed its runs by 9am and the other by noon.
