Lambasingi, often touted as the Kashmir of Andhra Pradesh, will be developed as a tourist spot in the upcoming year as the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation in association with the union ministry of tourism has come forward to develop tourism projects in the region at a cost of Rs9 crores (S$189,625).

Located 1,000m above sea level, the climate conditions and the scenic beauty make it an attractive tourist destination. The corporation has also selected two hot spots in Paderu, headquarters of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency of Visakhapatnam district, for tourism projects at a cost of Rs8 crores.
