Babysitter, 59, injures child due to 'slippery hands'

The daily reported that a 59-year-old babysitter in Taipei might be charged in court after the baby under her care was rushed to hospital for injuries.

The year-old girl was fighting for her life in the intensive care unit.

The woman had claimed she was holding the child who slipped from her clutches because her hands were "slippery". It is believed the baby might have been abused after she cried and refused to have her meal.
