A body of a woman was found on the roof of a terminal at Japan's Narita International Airport on Monday (Sept 12).
According to Tokyo Reporter, a passenger had tipped off the authorities about a woman collapsed on the first-floor roof of the Tokyo airport's Terminal 2.
The woman, who was wearing a light green dress, is believed to be aged between 20 and 40. She was found lying face-up with head injuries and pronounced dead when authorities arrived.
Police believe the case to be a suicide.
They suspect that the woman may have climbed over the 3.8m-tall fence on the fourth floor observation deck before plunging to her death.
The report cited Chiba Nippo news, stating that a woman's handbag was found on the roof of the third floor.
Police are still working to establish the woman's identity.
