Dr Amy Khor to lead delegation to special ASEAN Ebola meeting

SINGAPORE - Senior Minister of State for Health Dr Amy Khor will lead a delegation to the ASEAN Plus Three Health Ministers' Special Meeting on Ebola Preparedness and Response.
The meeting will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from Dec 14 to 15.
A Health Ministry statement today said that the meeting will provide an update on the current situation of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, as well as review the progress of national preparedness to deal with the disease in all ASEAN Plus Three member-states.
The meeting also aims to build consensus and commitment among the ASEAN Plus Three Health Ministers towards international and regional collaborations to strengthen national capacities against Ebola.
Dr Khor will be accompanied to the meeting by senior officials from the Health Ministry.
