BANGKOK - A good-looking Japanese reporter has captured the hearts of the female audience amidst the chaotic protests and polls in Thailand.

According to Bangkok Post, 28-year-old Daijiro Enami, a reporter from Fuji Television Network, gained popularity overnight after appearing in a video report of the Thai protests.

In his getup of safety helmet and bulletproof vest, Mr Enami cuts a striking figure among the Thai crowd.

Photos of the handsome reporter shared on Thai netizens' Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts have piqued many ladies' curiosity about his identity.

He has also accommodated requests for photographs with fellow journalists and anti-government protesters.

On the popular Thai online forum Pantip, many Thai netizens have expressed their admiration for the attractive reporter and said that he makes the ideal boyfriend and husband.
