Kim Jong-Un visits orphanage, but no kids are there

Ever thought you would see a leader, known to be ruthless dictator, anywhere near colourful ball pits or a pool with swan-shaped floats?

Kim Jong-Un, North Korea's leader, has continued with his public appearances following a 40-day absence from the public eye.

His extended absence had stoked fears that his health was rapidly deteriorating.

However, it was revealed that he had undergone surgery for his ankle, and later re-emerged wielding a cane.

In the latest photos released by North Korea's Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim is seen offering "field guidance" in a visit to the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage.

But the children's orphanage is well, eerily empty, with no sign or indication of any children at the facility during Kim's visit.
