Korean Air to code-share with Aurora Airlines

SEOUL - Passengers travelling to Russia can now enjoy greater convenience and choice with Korean Air's new route between Incheon, Seoul, and Sakhalin, Russia, announced Korean Air on Thursday.

Korean Air's code-share partnership with Aurora Airlines, a Russian Far East air carrier, on the route between Incheon and Sakhalin commenced on Jan 1.

Aurora Airlines' flights code-shared by Korean Air to Sakhalin are operated by a B737 aircraft and are able to seat 110 passengers.

The Korean airline's flights depart from Incheon International Airport on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sundays at 1200h and arrive in Sakhalin at 1645h. the same day. The return flights depart from Sakhalin at 0930h, arriving Seoul Incheon at 1050h the next day.

Korean Air also has routes between Incheon and Moscow, operating five flights a week, as well as daily flights between Incheon and Vladivostok.
