KUALA LUMPUR - The MH370 missing flight incident will not create a negative impact to the bilateral relationship between China and Malaysia.
China ambassador to Malaysia Dr Huang Huikang said China appreciates the efforts by Malaysia in dealing with the difficult situation.
"It is a difficult time and we should stand by each other and walk side by side. We share the feelings of Malaysia," he said at the Dewan Rakyat.
"It is our priority now to intensify efforts and expand scope of search and rescue. We are waiting for new developments," he added.
He said China will not abandon hope, never bend efforts and were preparing for the worst situation.
He was speaking to reporters after a courtesy call with Dewan Rakyat president Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang here.
