Two young lion cubs meet the public at Shirotori Zoo in Higashikagawa, Kagawa Prefecture, on Saturday.

The 2-week-old lions made their first public appearance on the day, and visitors were able to see them playing together and napping.

Both weighing about 2 kilograms, the 45-centimeter-long male cubs are the first lions born in the zoo in 10 years.
