Singapore strongly condemns attack

SINGAPORE has strongly condemned Saturday's violent attacks at the Kunming train station in Yunnan province.

"Such attacks on innocent civilians cannot be condoned or justified under any circumstances," a Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman said on Monday, in response to queries.

Singapore's Consulate-General in Guangzhou is in touch with Singaporeans in Kunming and there have been no reports of affected Singaporeans thus far.
