Sofitel to open first Bali hotel in Nusa Dua next month

Sofitel Luxury Hotels will be opening its first Indonesian property in Bali's Nusa Dua on Dec 20.

The Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort was designed by Wilson Associates and will combine French elegance and flair with warm Balinese hospitality and culture.

Guests can expect to choose from 415 rooms and suites, including 17 Private Villas, 22 Prestige Suites and 376 Luxury Rooms that feature plush amenities and high-tech fittings.

"Sofitel is renowned for French luxury and sophistication. With the opening of Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort, we're introducing our signature French elegance and "cousu-main" tailor-made service to Indonesia. This spectacular resort is created as a unique holiday sanctuary retreat for business travellers, couples and families, offering all guests the height of resort living with world-class facilities," said Goran Aleks, General Manager of Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Resort.

The resort's culinary offerings are also conceptualised by Blue Plates in Singapore and its three restaurants, two bars and a club lounge are inspired by a 'food market' dining concept.

Menus are Pan Asian, a steakhouse, an Italian Osteria and Sea Grill and classic Indonesian favourites.

The hotel's Grand Ballroom is also able to accommodate up to 600 guests in theatre style, amongst other meeting facilities.

For families, the resort also offers a Kids Club that has an outdoor kids' pool, a reading room, a nap room, video game consoles and activities like cooking classes, yoga for kids and various beach games.
