Students nabbed for planting marijuana

Police arrested two suspects identified only by the initials RG and RY, both 18, students at a vocational school in Siulak district, Kerinci regency, Jambi, for allegedly growing marijuana at home.

"Police officers found four marijuana plants on the front porch of RG's house," said Kerinci Police chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Winugroho on Wednesday.

Both of the suspects are currently being held at the Kerinci Police station for further questioning.

Police also confiscated two plastic bags, six butane lighters, two plates, two glass pipes and a glass bottle when they raided RG's house on Tuesday evening.
