Take your canine pal for a ride of a lifetime at this amusement park
For those of you who proudly cradle your four-legged, long-tailed, fuzzy-snouted babies everywhere, Japanese amusement park Fuji-Q Highland, located in Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi, will allow you to unleash your unabashed affection for your canine this summer.
According to Rocketnews24.com, the park's Fuji-Q Wanland (wan being the sound of a barking dog in Japanese) promotion opens up the park to both you and your furry pal, allowing pet-owners to stroll outdoors with their dogs, provided they're on a leash.
While dogs won't be able to hang their heads out on rollercoasters, they can join their owners on selected rides such as the Ferris wheel, paddle boats, merry-go-round and spinning tea cup attractions.
Tired pups will also have their very own doggy pool and specially set up rest area to soothe their heated bodies, keeping them cool and comfortable.
Just as you treat your fur-kid as one of your own, Fuji-Q's admission system too, reflects the fact; canine admission will cost 900 yen (S$11), the same price as a child's ticket, reported Trend Hunter.
However, you will receive a discount for multiple pets as an additional dog ticket is 450 yen each.
Dogs will need tickets for individual rides, priced at 500 yen for the Ferris wheel and 400 yen for the other attractions.
The amusement park also requires owners to carry a water bottle and bags to clean up after their pooches.
Fuji-Q Wanland will run from June 24 till July 9, indulging all pet lovers with the family outing they always dreamed of.
