Singapore’s Tiffany “No Chill” Teo was promised a chance at the inaugural ONE Strawweight World Championship, if she were to win her match at ONE: IMMORTAL PURSUIT on Friday, 24 November.

She did just that, submitting Indian wushu champion Puja Tomar via armbar in the first round. With the feat, she extended her unbeaten record to seven.

Teo lived up to her “No Chill” moniker by aggressively pushing the action. She clinched with Tomar, and landed some sharp elbows and even a roundhouse kick. The Singaporean then continued her attack with knees to the body.

Tomar escaped, but Teo persisted in hunting her down. Soon, she threw Tomar to the ground, and almost immediately took full mount. As the punches rained down from above, the Indian turned away, thus giving up her back and arm at the same time.

“No Chill” snapped on the armbar submission hold and tightened it up, which forced Tomar to tap out at 4:07 of the first round.
