Fans of the French classic fairy-tale can look forward to the Asian premiere of Cinderella, A Fairly True Story, coming to Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) on Dec 10.
The integrated resort has collaborated with Music Hall from Belgium to re-tell the popular children's classic in a mix of dynamic dance choreography set to original music and popular hits.
The Belgium company had previously concluded a successful run of Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story, at RWS.
Grammy-winning composer and musical director, Mr Matt Dunkley, who worked on Peter Pan, The Never Ending Story staged at RWS last year, will once again be the musical director and oversee the orchestration for Cinderella, A Fairly True Story.
Joining Mr Dunkley is Mr Stany Crets who created the idea for the production and will be entrusted with the direction and scripting. The show's choreography is led by the classically-trained ex-ballet dancer Mr Martino Muller from Switzerland.
Ms Andrea Teo, vice president of Entertainment at RWS, said the show is an "enthralling theatrical production for all ages" and follows the tale of Cinderella through the eyes of an inquisitive reporter.
Fans of Cinderella can look forward to the classic elements such as the ball, the pumpkin transformation and iconic glass slippers, added Ms Teo.
Cinderella, A Fairly True Story, premieres Dec 10, 2015 till Jan 4, 2016. Tickets are now on sale at $78, $108, $138 and $168 and can be purchased through the phone at 6348 5555, via the Sistic website or at the RWS Box Office.
