Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has taken over the award-winning Regent Bali. Renamed Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali, the 120-suite-and-villa resort is situated on 4ha of lush gardens and along a 200m stretch of pristine beach on the island's south-eastern coast.

It is the first Fairmont property in Bali, and to celebrate, the hotel is offering 25 per cent off the best available rates for its suites. The deal includes daily breakfast for two, complimentary (non-alcoholic) mini bar, free Wi-Fi and late check-out till 2pm.

Or spend one night in one of the hotel's one-, two- or three-bedroom pool villas and stay the second night free. This package is available from now till March 31.

Neither deal is available between Dec 28 and Jan 5.
