Asia Agri-tech Expo & Forum Opens to Attendees from 36 Countries & Regions

TAIPEI, Taiwan, Sept. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Asia Agri-tech Expo & Forum and the co-located events Livestock Taiwan Expo & Forum and Aquaculture Taiwan Expo & Forum opened its doors today to visitors representing agriculture, livestock and aquaculture companies from over 36 countries and regions looking to source the latest in seeds, seedlings, agriculture machinery, feeds & feed additives and farm equipment.

Asia Agri-tech Expo & Forum is being co-organised by UBM and Council of Agriculture, Taiwan Government (COA). The Taiwan Agriculture Technology Pavilion organised by COA showcases 44 of the latest technologies by 32 companies from 10 major agricultural sectors, including agriculture machinery, bio-fertilisers & pesticides, seeds, seedlings, feed additives, vaccines and detection & testing kits.

The Taiwan Premium Seed and Seedling Pavilion organised by the Taiwan Seeds Trade Association features displays of high tolerant fruit, vegetable and flower seeds, while the Taiwan Banana Research Institute will make a world debut of 'Tai Banana NO.7', a newly developed Cavendish Cultivar banana plantlet with moderate resistance to Foc TR4.

Meanwhile, Livestock Taiwan Expo & Forum and Aquaculture Taiwan Expo & Forum focus on the utilization of IoT (Internet of Things) technology and will feature automatic environment control, remote surveillance systems, smart livestock and aquaculture total solutions.

In addition to the above, there are over 40 professional conferences hosted by industry leaders and professors from National Taiwan Ocean University, National Pingtung University of Science & Technology, Taiwan Alltech Co., Ltd., and Harvest Farm Group which deliver first-hand industry development trend and innovative technologies to agricultural attendees from across the globe.
