beIN SPORTS to broadcast FIFA Women's World Cup in Indonesia

JAKARTA, Indonesia, June 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- beIN Asia Pacific - part of beIN MEDIA GROUP, the global sports and entertainment group - ("beIN"), today announced a new media rights agreement that will see its flagship brand - beIN SPORTS broadcast the upcoming FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019™ in Indonesia.

This new deal means that beIN will distribute this year's FIFA Women's World Cup to more countries* than any other global broadcaster.  In addition to Indonesia, the rights coverage in Asia includes Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and Timor-Leste.

"Thailand has qualified for the Women's World Cup for the second consecutive time and is the first country in Southeast Asia to achieve such unprecedented success in football on a global stage," said Mike Kerr, Managing Director, beIN Asia Pacific.  "The tournament will be a transformational year for women in football with record-breaking crowds and increased coverage.  We are extremely proud to support women's football and encourage everyone to be the 12th man and support the amazing athletes as they battle it out in France this June.  By showing your solidarity and support, you too can change the game."

FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019™ will air on beIN SPORTS channels and on beIN's live streaming service, beIN SPORTS CONNECT.  With beIN SPORTS CONNECT, fans can have access to all matches anytime, anywhere on any connected mobile device, laptop, desktop computer and television with Chromecast or Apple TV.
