Tn Haji Rohaizat Ahmad, who is the Managing Director of FTC, stated, "We live in an age of crisis. A crisis can hit at any time, and with the power of the modern digital media, it can be a national or international story within minutes. We need to be prepared to act correctly and in a timely manner."

Recent studies have shown that productivity is immediately effected during a crisis. Organisational resources are shifted and public attention is focused on that organization. "With effective training and preparation, many situations can be managed before they become a crisis. This will have a positive effect on the people, the reputation of the leaders involved and ultimately productivity of the country," said Tn Haji Rohaizat Ahmad.

"With this strategic collaboration, we are able to provide a full range of crisis related training and consultancy services. Initially we will focus on pre-crisis capacity building and training so that organisations have the skills to handle a crisis, while improving response time and ensuring the safety and well-being of the public," concluded Tn Haji Rohaizat, who has helmed the growth of FTC over the past 5 years.

As part of its sustainable strategy to be a value-based partner to an array of industries, FTC has developed a suite of Executive and Leadership Management Programmes for middle to C-Level Executives to cater to the growing needs of corporate and institutional bodies.  FELCRA Training & Consultancy (FTC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FELCRA Berhad, a MoF incorporated company that is under the purview of the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development of Malaysia (MRRD).

When speaking about the impact of this new development, Nordin Abdullah, the Managing Director of the Crisis Management Centre stated, "We are pleased to confirm that FTC has been appointed as the exclusive delivery partner to the Malaysian government. This appointment will include delivery to both federal and state governments, different ministries and government agencies."

"FTC has a strong history of delivery to the public sector, we want to leverage off that track record, coupled with our expertise in crisis management we expect to be able to engage with those ministries and agencies that deal with crisis on an ongoing basis or in high risk areas that have the potential to effect the wellbeing of the people.  We look forward to long and fruitful relationship between FTC and the Crisis Management Centre," said Nordin Abdullah.

On hand to witness the appointment was FTC Chairman, YB Dato' Abdul Shukur Haji Idrus, FTC board members Raj Akbar bin Sabu, Datuk Mat Noor bin Nawi, who is also Chairman of EXIM Bank and FTC Strategic Partner, and Executive Director of Tindakan Strategi, Rizal Kamaruzzaman.
