Envision Group's Wind Turbine Installed Capacity Reaches 5GW in 2018, a Year-on-Year Increase of Over 50%

SHANGHAI, Jan. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Envision Group's wind turbine business has maintained rapid growth for years. In 2018, the wind turbine installed capacity reaches 5GW, a year-on-year increase of over 50%. Of the 20GW of newly installed capacity in the Chinese market for the whole of 2018, the Group's newly installed wind power capacity accounts for 25%.

Total new orders for the year are expected to exceed 6GW. By the end of 2018, the cumulative total of existing orders for the Group's wind turbines was more than 13GW.

Sales profit is forecast to show continued growth in 2018, with a steady increase in profitability.

As the global leader of both onshore and offshore wind turbines, the Group's wind turbines business is expected to witness rapid growth in 2019 with expected delivery orders reaching 7GW.
