ERTC Maximum Claim Amount Small Business Tax Credit Rebate Report Launched

The new report launched in partnership with Scott Hall is available to all small businesses, start-ups, and non-profit organizations who may be eligible for Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC). To determine their eligibility for tax credits, employers can take a secure 60-second quiz on the ERTC Today website.

In the recently launched report, business owners will find expert advice to help them claim up to $26,000 per employee in tax rebates, regardless of if they have already received funds through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Unlike the PPP, these funds are not a loan, and there are no restrictions on how they can be spent.

Changes made to the CARES Act in 2021 expanded the eligibility for the ERTC program, allowing many employers who were previously ineligible to receive tax credits. This expansion has caused an increase in the number of applicants and a longer wait time for business owners to receive their funds.

The sooner an employer applies for their rebates, the sooner they will receive a check in the mail. By completing the short quiz on the ERTC Today website, business owners can get pre-qualified for a rebate by professional ERTC specialist accountants, and fast-track the application process.

To complete the application, employers will be directed to a secure server where they can upload their 941 returns, PPP loan documents, and raw payroll data. With that information, the ERTC Today accountants can calculate the maximum rebate they can claim, and help them complete the paperwork.

Small and medium-sized businesses with less than 500 full-time employees may be eligible for tax credits if they have had to close their business during the pandemic because of government orders, such as a lockdown. They may also be eligible if they lost revenue during 2020/2021, compared to their revenue in the same fiscal quarter of the previous year.

Non-profit organizations, start-ups, and new businesses founded during the pandemic are also eligible for tax credits. New businesses may be eligible for up to $100,000 as a “startup recovery business.”
