Templestay is a unique cultural program which lets visitors experience the life of Buddhist practitioners at traditional temples which preserve the 1,700-year-old of Korean Buddhism history. Templestay has received great attentions both from Korea and Singapore when it was aired on one of the popular TV shows, titled 'Superman Returns'. In one episode of the program, actor Song Il-Gook's triplets and entertainer Ko Ji-Yong's son went to a Buddhist temple and spent a couple of days there to learn how the monks live, eat, and mediate.

During the Expo, visitors are allowed to join diverse hands-on programs that are a symbol of Buddhism such as drawing handheld fan paintings, making traditional patterned coasters and lotus lanterns. Also, gifts will be given at the Expo to those who participate in promotional events advertised on the official Facebook page.

Since 2017, the Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism has developed and launched travel packages such as Templestay in Singapore, Taiwan and Chinese-speaking countries. The two most popular tour packages are the two-day trip for mountain-climbing and Templestay, and the two-day trip for cycling and Templestay.

Ven. Wonkyeong, the Director of the Cultural Corps of Korean Buddhism said, "We are glad to be able to attend the NATAS Holidays 2018 again following last year, and to have a chance to introduce Templestay to the people of Singapore. We prepared a variety of experience programs that will, for sure, help busy city residents relieve their stress and bring psychological stability." He added, "If you have any chance to visit Korea, I strongly recommend you to experience Templestay in one of the beautiful Korean temples. "
