Gamelord awards Mobile Game 'Monster Magic' Winners with RM10,000 worth of prizes

The final live tournament was held on January 29 where the top 9 finalists dueled it out for the grand prize of an iPhone X.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Feb. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Gamelord, an ongoing mobile gaming eSports portal, has recently held the final showdown for their sixth mobile game tournament 'Monster Magic'.

The tournament went on for a course of five months from July 19 to December 18, 2018 where the top 10 players were invited to battle each other out in an intense final one-hour showdown to determine their ultimate ranking.

Thirty-three-year-old Mohammad Aslan bin Atik dominated the monster matching puzzle game and received the grand prize of a 64GB iPhone X. Farah Lyana binti Rosli (27) claimed second place and won a 32GB Samsung Galaxy A8, while third place went to Muhamad Fakhrorazi bin Ismail (33) who took home a Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro. Finalists coming in at 4th to 9th place were each awarded a RM300 e-voucher.

The Gamelord tournament continues with 'Endless Trials' where players will take the contestant role and participate in a televised sports show featuring the deadliest of trials. Players must jump, swim, fall, and skate to overcome obstacles and stay in the game as long as possible to get high rankings.

Likewise, the 'Endless Trials' tournament will be ongoing for five months and players can duel it out until May 4, 2019 to upload their high scores to the Gamelord tournament leaderboard and become one of the 10 finalists to be in the running for a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Other prizes up for grabs include a Huawei P20, Samsung Galaxy A9, and e-vouchers.
