Incheon International Airport to Present Winter Concert During the Christmas Season

On the 22nd, the first day of concert series, a fantastic, vibrant musical gala concert will be staged by TRiNiTY Philharmonic Orchestra together with four iconic music artists in Korea: Musical actor Michael Lee from "Miss Saigon" and actress Jeong Seon-ah from "Rent," who are both active in both on the musical stage and on TV screen, and vocalists Kwak Dong-hyun and Lee Dong-shin who gained immense popularity through JTBC's TV show "Phantom Singer."

On the 23rd, soprano Kim Min-ji, mezzo-soprano Shin Hyun-seon, tenor Lee Dong-myeong and baritone Kwon Yong-man will sing along with Western Symphony Orchestra, the top orchestra in Korea led by Director Bang Sung-ho. With the singers' beautiful voices and the orchestra's grandiose, colorful melodies, the classical concert will create a special memory for travelers visiting the airport on the weekend.

On December 24th, the day preceding Christmas, iMBC will stage a special live broadcast of Heyo TV's Christmas special titled "A Tiny Showcase," featuring celebrated idol bands Oh My Girl and Teen Top to bring joy and excitement to both fans and the general audience. Heyo TV is a live program that gives fans the special experience of communicating with their favorite celebrities real time, gaining immense popularity among those in their teens and 20s.

On December 25th, Christmas Day, elegant ballerinas from the Wise Ballet Theater will perform a unique, impressive variation of "The Nutcracker" with its blend of tap dance, b-boying and ballet, breaking the preconception that ballet is difficult and boring. The mesmerizing stage will be the perfect grand finale to round off the 2017 art and culture performance series.
