SORL Auto Parts Won Prestigious Patent Award in China

ZHEJIANG, China, Jan. 22, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- SORL Auto Parts, Inc. (NASDAQ: SORL) ("SORL" or the "Company"), a leading manufacturer and distributor of automotive brake systems as well as other key safety-related auto parts in China, announced today that its design for an electric air compressor recently won the "2017 Excellent State Patent Award". The State Patent Award is the highest government Patent Award and is the only government award recognized by the World Intellectual Property Organization ("WIPO").

Since its inception, SORL has amassed approximately 600 patents in China and abroad. In addition, SORL contributed its design expertise to the Chinese government for the establishment of a national standard for braking systems. Electric air compressor products are one of SORL's best sellers in China and SORL controls a very high market share in both the OEM and aftermarket segments.
