SINGAPORE - Office Expo Asia (OEA) 2013 is Singapore's only dedicated office solutions and business event aimed at meeting the ambitions of the corporate business domain.

It is organised by BizLink Exhibition Services Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings Limited.

Encompassing office automation and equipment, supplies and services, enterprise solutions, as well as workspace planning and design, OEA will be held from July 10-12 at the Marina Bay Sands, Expo and Convention Center, Level 1, Halls B & C.

Ms Isabella Loh, Chairman, Singapore Environment Council, will be the Guest-of-Honour for the event's opening ceremony on 10 July.

Businesses looking to boost productivity and upgrade their capabilities can enjoy free business advice and learn about the various government assistance schemes at OEA's Advisory Zone, which is helmed by SME Centre @ Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce, as well as Industry and SME Infocomm Resource Centre @ Singapore Institute of Retail Studies.

The Singapore Workforce Development Agency will also be present to share on their Enhanced Training Support for SMEs.

There is an Eco-Office Showcase that aims to raise awareness and promote environmentally-friendly habits in the workplace. This is supported by Singapore Environment Council's Project Eco-Office initiative.

Recreating an actual office, green items such as office furniture, printers, paints, detergents, lighting, and paper will be showcased alongside with Eco-tips. This first-ever showcase of its kind will help to cultivate a sense of environmental consciousness at the workplace.

The myriad of activities at OEA will allow visitors to gain deeper insights into current trends, network with one another, explore business partnerships and share their expertise.

OEA 2013 will be held in conjunction with Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair (SGPFair), Singapore's first and most established trade show of its kind, showcasing promotional, corporate, incentive and retail gifts.

Admission is free and restricted to trade, corporate and office buyers only. Online registration at www.OfficExpoAsia.com closes on 8 July, 9am. Thereafter, visitors may register on-site on show days by presenting their business card.

Visitors can look forward to a variety of unique products and the latest designs from both local and overseas exhibitors from 30 countries, such as Australia, Cambodia, China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Korea, Pakistan, Thailand, and more.

Taking sustainability issues seriously, Singapore Gifts & Premiums Fair is proud to launch an Eco-Gifts Showcase this year. On display will be a collection of innovative environmentally-friendly gifts contributed by exhibitors, such as wood jewellery and art pieces made from factory "waste" or "rejects", biodegradable cork thumb drives, pens made from recycled plastic bottles.

Visitors can also look forward to International Group Pavilions from Hong Kong/ Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam, a series of educational marketing and branding seminars on the show floors, and a student collaboration showcase, into its second year.
