Brace yourselves for another bout of confusion.
Since Instagram user leonardhoespams uploaded a photo of a pair of legs on Monday, Twitter users were quick to point out something odd.
Have a look:

What do you see?
Of course the Internet had to go into a frenzy:
It's not shiny legs OR white paint... its clearly black and blue.

2015: Is the dress blue/black or white/gold?

2016: Are these shiny legs or white paint?
Oh! What will 2017 bring? pic.twitter.com/79MP2lVcPt
Oh no! Here we go again! Like #thedress, people can't agree on this optical illusion. Shiny legs or white paint? #shinypaintlegs https://t.co/nhp95K3qkS

This is not the first time netizens have appeared divided over an optical illusion.
In February last year, a photo of a striped dress became the topic of debate. People couldn't decide if the dress was blue and black or white and gold.
It later emerged that the dress, was in fact blue and black.
Of course it all boils down to a matter of angling and perspective, but reactions from optical illusions do confirm one thing - that we humans have a large visual spectrum.
