WATCH: Boy rescued after getting arm stuck in factory conveyor belt in China

XIAOGAN, China - Firefighters rescued an eight-year-old boy who got his arm stuck in a conveyor belt on Sunday in Xiaogan city, central China's Hubei Province.

The boy's arm became wedged between two pulleys along a conveyor belt. To avoid further injury to the boy, firefighters covered the boy's hand and body before cutting the belt and expanding the space between the two pulleys.

The boy was sent to the nearest hospital immediately after being rescued. Currently he is in a stable condition and is receiving further treatment.

Further investigation shows that the boy did not want to be alone at home, therefore came to the company with his mother.

He was talking to his mother while stretching out his hand and touching the pulleys, before unfortunately getting stuck between them.
