Fibre damage disrupts services to some of Singtel's business customers

SINGAPORE - Some of Singtel's business customers may be having difficulties accessing fibre-based services after some of its fibres were damaged by a roadworks contractor early this morning.

In a Facebook post this morning, Singtel said that some fibres were damaged at 2.08am. It said that its engineers have been on site and most circuits were restored by 6.09am.

However, it also said that some business customers may still be "experiencing difficulties accessing fibre-based services".

In an update at 11.30am, Singtel said that its engineers are still on site at Bras Basah, where the fibre cuts occurred, and that some customers may still have difficulties accessing the services.
