Gaming fans rejoice: Fallout 4 is out Nov 10

LOS ANGELES - After four years of development, the next entry to the popular post-apocalyptic video game series Fallout will be out on Nov 10 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Sunday's announcement ahead of today's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) comes shortly after developer Bethesda Game Studios confirmed on June 3 the existence of Fallout 4, the highly anticipated follow-up to 2008's Fallout 3.

As many fans suspected, Fallout 4 includes scenes before the apocalypse that reduces the world to a Mad Max-like wasteland.

But tech news site The Verge said this is true only for the beginning of the game. The rest of the role-playing shooter is set in Boston 200 years later.

Fallout 4 is said to give a lot of player freedom. Players also have the option to build a house that can grow into a settlement with guard towers and merchant stalls. Expect a ton of weapons and armour to find and modify as well.

The PC version of Fallout 4 is listed for sale at S$79 on the Singapore Steam store.
