Intermittent broadband and voice call issues resolved: Starhub

UPDATE: At about 6.25pm on Thursday, Starhub updated its Facebook page to say that "the intermittent issues that had affected some broadband and digital voice customers in certain areas of Singapore today, have been resolved".

The telco added that it is taking steps to ensure the services stabilise for affected customers.

Starhub customers still facing problems using fibre broadband

SINGAPORE - In its latest tweet and Facebook post at about 4.10pm, Starhub acknowledged that some of its fibre broadband and digital voice services customers are still having difficulties in accessing the services.

"We are aware that some broadband and Digital Voice customers still experience intermittent difficulties in using the services. Please be assured that we are investigating the matter and will provide further updates. Thank you," it wrote in Facebook.

Starhub first addressed the issue in the morning, at about 11.15am, with a Facebook post that said it was aware of the problem that some users are facing, and "are working to resolve the matter as quickly as possible".

It said in a post at 12.30pm that affected broadband and digital voice services had been restored.

The Straits Times reported that some users had said that they were unable to access the services since 10am.

Users are responding to Starhub's latest Facebook post, saying that areas like Sengkang, Bishan, Punggol, and Telok Blangah are affected.
