CAMERA

Nikon D750

Pricing unknown, available end of the month

The D750 is the smallest and lightest full-frame DSLR camera from the Japanese imaging giant to date.

Inside its 750g lightweight but durable magnesium alloy body is a 24.3-megapixel full-frame image sensor, a 91,000-pixel RGB metering 2015 sensor and Expeed 4 image processing engine.

These give the D750 an accurate 51-point autofocusing system, a continuous shooting speed of 6.5 frames per second and the ability to shoot full high-definition videos.

It also has a flippable 3.2-inch LCD screen, built-in Wi-Fi and dual SD card slots.

WATCH

Casio Baby-G BA-110LP

$189

You can wear this as an homage to the late queen of leopard prints, comedienne Joan Rivers.

Casio's Baby-G BA-110LP has a wild leopard print that wraps around the watch - even the band and bezel. Its distinctive multi-dimensional watch face lets you read time from a combination of digital and analogue time displays in metallic accents.

Both shock-resistant and water-resistant down to 100m, this is one rugged wristwatch that manages to be stylish as well. It is available in pink, white or beige.

ACCESSORY

Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard

$99, available in December

It works with the Apple iPad and iPhone, Android devices or Windows tablets. This keyboard is really universal.

You can pair it with as many as three devices of different operating systems (OS) at a time, toggling easily from one to another with a simple flick of the OS switch. It even has Apple's Command key and Android's Home key, in addition to Windows' Control key.

The built-in rechargeable battery is said to provide up to six months of usage on a single charge.

CASING

Viva AireFit Curio for iPhone 6

$29.90

If you were among the lucky ones who scored a new Apple iPhone 6, you may want a new case for it.

The Viva AireFit Curio case has a Magic Repair Shield coating that is supposed to be self healing. That is, if it gets scratched, it should look like new within a couple of minutes.

Its maker claims that this case will have five times fewer scratches than a regular case - whatever that means. The coating also provides better grip and the transparent casing lets you admire your new iPhone while keeping it protected.

MOUSE

Logitech Wireless Mouse M280

$29

Affordable and long lasting, Logitech's Wireless Mouse M280 has asymmetric contours designed to nestle perfectly in your right hand (sorry, lefties). Its wide wheel helps you to scroll effortlessly.

Insert a new AA battery and it should last you up to 18 months. It includes a Logitech Nano USB receiver for wireless connectivity. It comes in red, blue or black.

SPORTS SHOES

Puma Mobium Elite Ride

$179

For joggers who run with a conventional heel strike, the new Puma Mobium Elite Ride could be your perfect everyday running shoe. It utilises three features of Puma's running technology for heel strikers:

The Mobium band - an elasticised band fused at the bottom of the shoe to contract and expand during gait cycle - is designed specifically for heel strikers;

Forefoot Expansion Pods that are designed to align with your foot's bone structure, flex at the same place and the same way as your foot; and

The Windlass Chassis - an ethylene-vinyl acetate midsole changes shape and length as your foot does while you are running.
