SMARTWATCH

Motorola Moto 360

$380

The Moto 360, a classically designed Android Wear smartwatch by Motorola, is finally available in Singapore officially.

Its circular stainless steel case has a bezel so thin that the 1.56-inch touchscreen display (320 x 290 pixels) looks as if it all but covers the edges. Its minimalist design makes the Moto 360 the best-looking smartwatch in my opinion.

Running the latest Android Wear 5 operating system, Moto 360 will sync with any Android OS 4.3 smartphone to provide notifications and subtle alerts, and accept voice commands.

The Moto 360 is available here only in black finish, from Rakuten Singapore and MStation at The Verge.

IPHONE CASE

Tylt Energi Sliding Power Case for iPhone 6

$139

The Tylt Energi Sliding Power Case for the iPhone 6 consists of a protective snap-on case and a 3,200mAh lithium-ion battery-pack sleeve.

You can use the snap-on case on its own minus the battery-pack sleeve. Then when your phone is low on battery, slide the phone (with snap-on case attached) onto the battery-pack sleeve and press the button at the rear to start charging the iPhone.

The lithium-ion rechargeable battery packs more than a full charge of the iPhone 6.

LAPTOP

Alienware 15

From $2,499

Alienware is synonymous with high-performance gaming. And the latest Alienware 15 gaming laptop continues the tradition.

This is the first Alienware laptop to have an Ultra HD 4K display (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) option. That will cost you $3,299.

The $2,499 model also has a 15.6-inch display, but with full high-definition (1,920 x 1,080 pixels) resolution.

The Alienware 15 uses a fourth- generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, Nvidia GTX 980m graphics processing unit with video memory up to 4GB and system memory of 16GB.

SPEAKER

Nakamichi Music Cube Mini Wireless Speaker

$99

Only slightly bigger than a standard Rubik's Cube, the Nakamichi Music Cube Mini Wireless Speaker is ideal for frequent travellers.

Packed with Near Field Communication and Bluetooth, it can be paired with your smartphones to stream music wirelessly from up to 7m away. If you prefer a wired connection, it has an auxiliary line-in port. The speaker has a card slot that lets you play music stored in a microSD card of up to 16GB.

The built-in lithium battery is rechargeable via a micro-USB cable for up to six hours of playback. The speaker is available in red, pink, blue and black.

RUNNING SHOES

Adidas Ultra Boost

$289

The new Ultra Boost, so boasts its maker, Adidas, is the "greatest running shoe ever".

Its midsole uses 20 per cent more of the Boost cushioning material than earlier versions, to deliver better energy return with each stride. A new featherweight sockliner adapts to the foot for better fit and feel.

A new dual-density Torsion System embedded in the base of the Ultra Boost allows more independent movement between the heel and the forefoot, for better stability and control.

PRINTER

Epson L850

$589

Imaging professionals after an economical all-in-one photo printer may want to take a look at the Epson L850.

It can deliver quality colour prints of 5,760 x 1,440 dots per inch resolution with an expanded colour gamut using its six inks. It can print a 4R photo in 12sec, making it a great party companion.
