StarHub announced a partnership with video streaming service Netflix on Sunday, Jan 17, that will allow its customers to have access to the Internet TV network's streaming offerings.
In a statement, the telco said its Fibre TV customers could access Netflix through their set-top boxes by the early second quarter of 2016.
Chief marketing officer of StarHub Howie Lau said: "This partnership with Netflix allows us to deliver convenience to all our customers who are fans of this popular service. Mobile and broadband customers will enjoy a smoother streaming experience due to our Open Connect partnership."
He added that all StarHub customers will be able to charge their Netflix subscription to their StarHub bill instead of having to settle multiple bills.
Using the Netflix app, StarHub customers will be able to access documentaries, feature films and Netflix original series.
More information will be made available at a later date.
