Need more whimsy in your video conferences? Studio Ghibli is now offering wallpapers, which can be used as virtual backgrounds in video calls.

On its website, the famed Japanese studio explained that the wallpapers can legally be used for any non-commercial, non-advertising purposes, such as telecommuting, teleworking, and distance learning.

It also gives users permission to resize or crop the image to fit the app.

However, the studio requests users to provide a link to the site rather than sharing the image files directly.

For now, there are eight wallpapers, from the movies NausicaƤ Of The Valley Of The Wind, Laputa: Castle In The Sky, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, The Secret World of Arrietty, and the Tale Of Princess Kaguya.

Ghibli said more wallpapers will be added soon.

Most video conferencing services like Skype, Zoom and Google Hangout allow users to upload an image or video that can be overlayed as the background, like green screens in movies.
