SINGAPORE - A total of 110,000 conversations took place on Polling Day on September 11 and through the night, according to latest statistics from Twitter.
According to a statement from the social media platform, a chart showing the flow of the Twitter conversation showed spikes at critical moments, particularly when the results of the hotly-contested constituencies were announced.
The highest peak took place when Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong delivered a thank you speech to voters at Toa Payoh Stadium.
