Actor Carl Ng attacked with red paint on Hong Kong street

Actor Carl Ng suffered a paint attack on a crowded street in Hong Kong on Wednesday night.

According to Apple Daily, the 39-year-old British model was on his way to meet a friend when a man approached him and without saying a word, splashed a cup of red paint oh his face.

Ng, who is the son of veteran actor Richard Ng, chased the perpetrator down and called the police.

Police told the Hong Kong daily that a 25-year-old man was taken into custody.

In a video taken by Apple Daily reporters, Ng appeared calm. Apart from feeling pain in his eyes, he was not seriously injured in the incident, the Hong Kong tabloid reported.

Ng told reporters that he did not know why he was attacked as he was not in any debt and did not know of enemies who would want to hurt him.
