AsiaOne on air: Celebrate local with parties leading up to National Day

We've got a lovely weekend ahead leading up to National Day.

Start tonight at Kilo Lounge at Tanjong Pagar for hip hop guru Grandmaster Flash.

Doors open at 10pm and tickets are $50 on the door. Pre-sale tickets are sold out so get there early to get in.

On Friday, 1-Altitude at Raffles Place is having a Let's Go Local evening featuring specially concocted cocktails with a local twist and local makan (food) for one-night only.

It's from 6pm for $35 on the door.

Then on National Day eve which is next Tuesday, end your work day and start of the mid-week break at The Great Escape rooftop carpark at Golden Mile Tower on Beach Road.

It's going to be a Kampong Boogie with local DJs and happy hour promos from 6-9pm.

Entry is $10 after 9pm.

And if you want to carry on boogieing, head to Zouk in Clarke Quay for Mambo Jambo.

If that doesn't make you feel Singaporean, I don't know what will.

Also, look up to the skies in the early morning on Tuesday for there will be a lunar eclipse.
