AsiaOne on air: Fancy getting into the groove this weekend? Here's where to boogie

Since we've had two weekends of arty events, this weekend the Party Girl wants to get down to some dancing!

You may notice the parties I pick for this weekend have a similar music theme going on.

Friday sees three events that I'm either going to have to pace myself to make all of them or pick one - decisions, decisions.

But if I did do them all, I'll warm up at Lime House in Jiak Chuan Road that is normally a Caribbean restaurant by day and a boogie spot at night.

They are having their monthly Jump Up Wine Down night. It's the best place to get rum punch and do some sexy winding to African, Caribbean and hip hop beats from 9pm.

Then there's a SoKo night at Blu Jaz Cafe on Haji Lane. There will be two floors of UK garage music and old school hip hop jams from 9.30pm. And it's free entry!

Then I'll end off at Refuge at Circular Road for their Reminisce and Reverb weekly night that has two floors of old school R&B, and reggae and dancehall.

If I somehow manage to walk on Saturday after all that dancing, then I'll be checking out a night called Sub City at 50 Cuscaden Road.

From 10pm, there will be heavy drum & bass and jungle music to jump to.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Andre Hoeden, Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman on Thursday mornings.
