AsiaOne on air: Where to party this weekend

AsiaOne on air: Where to party this weekend

The Party Girl recommends some rather unique events this week that may pique your interest.

Have you heard of Sunny Leone? If not, you should head down to Avalon tonight from 10pm to find out who this personality is.

The Canadian-Punjabi former adult film star is now a Bollywood actress/model/host. Expect a sensational show from her. The dress code is dress-to-impress. Find out more on entry prices here.

If you haven't been to Orchard Road recently, watch label Hublot has created its own world's largest pop-up store to celebrate its Big Bang 10th Anniversary as well as Singapore's Jubilee.

This pop-up store is seven metres tall and occupies a massive area of 1,050 square metres at Ngee Ann City. Not quite the size of pop-ups I've been to.

As part of its celebrations, other than learning more about its watches, on Saturday, from 4pm, they will have a wrestling arena with Lucha Libre, which is a form of professional wrestling with roots in Mexico.

It is characterised by colourful masks, rapid sequences and high flying manoeuvres. This is a first in Singapore.

First time in Singapore! Lucha Libre (Mexican Wrestling) in the heart of the city! Last chance to catch them in action...

This is one that I'm definitely going to as I've already bought my ticket. Also on Saturday, Summerdaze, that is Asia's hip hop and soul festival, is on from 4pm at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel in Sentosa.

The line-up sees old school favourites Fat Joe, Arrested Development and Slum Village take to the stage in Singapore. Ticketing promos can be found on summerdaze.sg.

If you don't know, now you know.

To catch the Party Girl, listen to her on OneFM's #1 Breakfast Show with Andre Hoeden, Glenn Ong and The Flying Dutchman.
