AsiaOne on air: Where to party this weekend

The Singapore Grand Prix Formula 1 (F1) weekend is upon us and the Party Girl shares with you what to get up to.

The only parties that happen every night during the three-day race weekend in the F1 season are The Podium Lounge at Ritz Carlton and Amber Lounge Singapore at Millenia Walk. Expect a stellar line-up of top DJs, artistes and fashion shows at both events.

Another party that happens only during the F1 race weekend is the Johnnie Walker party and this time there's two on the same night - Friday.

One is the Altimate Circuit Party on Level 61 of Raffles Place and the other is an exclusive F1 party at Kyo.

The usual suspects who hold three-nights of partying are Bang Bang at Pan Pacific Hotel and Ce La Vi at the top of Marina Bay Sands.

New kid on the block Suite26 and Vanity Lounge at the South Beach Quarter compound on Beach Road will have two nights of partying on the Friday and Saturday.

And Sky Grande Prix on Level 45 of the Singapore Land Tower is having five nights of fun. They started on Wednesday!

But for those who are not into the F1 partying hype, there's hope.

On Saturday, the fifth floor carpark of Golden Mile Tower will turn into a rooftop-carpark bar for an event called The Great Escape. There will be a film screening, custom motorcycle builds, music, beer and grub.

And on Sunday, LongPlay at Haji Lane is having a wonderful playback session from 4pm. This is a beautiful bar where only vinyls are played on decks.
